What model do I need for my boat?
Email customersupport@stingrayhydrofoil.com with make, model of boat and motor.
My bolt is not long enough to reinstall the torque tab?
You will need to get a longer bolt. Make sure you get at least 5 full turns of thread engagement and use Loctite provided in the kit.
Does the StingRay need to be tight up against the upright part of the gearcase?
No it does not. It is ok to have room between the upright and the StingRay.
How long is the warranty?
The warranty is one year, however you can purchase an extended warranty on our products page.
I can’t drill the two forward holes on my Mercruiser outdrive?
You will need to mark and drill the back two holes first. Then bolt the StingRay upside down on bottom side of cavitation plate. Use the Stingray as a guide to drill the forward two mounting holes from the bottom up. Remove and bolt on normally.
A piece of my cavitation plate is missing and I want to use a StingRay?
Take a picture of it and email to customersupport@stingrayhydrofoil.com for evaluation and recommendation.
Do you sell marine sealant, carpet, seats, part for outboards, etc.?
We are the manufacturer of StingRay Hydrofoil Stabilizer products, and we don’t manufacture or sell any other marine items.
